About KAIBWS....

​

Vision
A. to support the growth and development of professional practitioners in authorised
International Baccalaureate World Schools and IB candidate schools in the
Republic of Korea, and
B. to maintain close association with the IBEC universities in the Republic of Korea.
Mission
KAIBWS upholds the mission of supporting and connecting authorised IB World
Schools and IB candidate schools in the successful candidature, authorisation and
evaluation of their respective IB programmes both in national and international
institutions.

Goals
1. Be inclusive in its membership by being open to all IB authorised World Schools,
IB candidate schools and IBEC universities in the Republic of Korea,
2. Consolidate resources from members’ expertise that support activities organised
by the association including professional development, university pathways,
programme accreditation, programme evaluation and IB assessment.
3. Encourage the active participation of KAIBWS members in activities coordinated
by the association.
4. Support interactions between authorised IB World Schools, IB candidate schools
and IBEC universities.
5. Provide support for the IB Coordinator networks in the Republic of Korea.
6. Make recommendations to the IB Asia-Pacific Office with respect to support,
required by authorised IB World Schools and IB candidate schools.

B. 대한민국의 IBEC(IB Educator Certificate) 관련 대학들과 긴밀한 협력을 유지한다.

사명 (Mission)

KAIBWS는 승인된 IB 월드스쿨과 IB 후보 학교들이 국내외 기관에서 각자의 IB 프로그램의 후보 단계, 인증 및 평가 과정을 성공적으로 진행할 수 있도록 지원하고 연결하는 사명을 지닌다.

목표 (Goals)

1. 대한민국 내 모든 승인된 IB 월드스쿨, IB 후보 학교, 그리고 IBEC 대학에 개방된 포용적인 회원제를 운영한다.

2. 협회의 전문성 및 회원들의 역량을 모아, 전문성 개발, 대학 진학 경로, 프로그램 인증, 프로그램 평가, IB 평가 등을 포함한 협회 주관 활동을 지원한다.

3. 협회가 주관하는 다양한 활동에 KAIBWS 회원들의 적극적인 참여를 장려한다.

4. 승인된 IB 월드스쿨, IB 후보 학교, 그리고 IBEC 대학 간의 상호 협력을 지원한다.

5. 대한민국 내 IB 코디네이터 네트워크를 지원한다.

6. IB 아시아·태평양 사무소에 대한민국 내 승인된 IB 월드스쿨 및 IB 후보 학교들이 필요로 하는 지원 사항을 건의한다.
